UKIST are a partner in the EPIC project (enabling early and equitable diagnosis of epilepsy in infants in the community) based at Edinburgh University. The first phase of the project – a survey of families with a child under 2 years of age with recent experience of EEG testing – is now ready to launch, with the aim of gathering data on current diagnostic pathways and feedback on the proposal to develop a remote EEG device with AI detection software for use in community settings.
More detail about the project and a link to the survey which will go live shortly here https://usher.ed.ac.uk/research/medical-informatics/projects/epic
