As parents and family members of children with a rare condition, we recognise the value of opportunities to meet face to face with other families to share experiences and cement online friendships. With this in mind UKIST host several annual events, taking over facilities that are adapted for children with additional needs, to give our families an opportunity to get together in a relaxed environment and have a fun day out. On Saturday June 14th we held two events – one at Camp Mohawk in Reading and one at the Creative Space Centre in Preston. We are delighted to share some photos of the lovely time we all had! Our next event will be held at the Children’s Farm Adventure Trust in September.
