We’re extremely pleased to share some exiting news! UKIST has secured some much-needed funding from the Coronavirus Community Support Fund, distributed by The National Lottery Community Fund ?
One of UKIST’s core ambitions is to provide a network of support to parents and carers with children affected by infantile spasms. In this Covid19 pandemic, we know that the lack of contact and support available from friends, family and professional services is having a significant impact on both our children’s health and development, and carers’ wellbeing.
We are therefore delighted that this funding will be used to provide essential virtual support in three key areas – speech therapy, physiotherapy and emotional wellbeing and support for newly diagnosed families.
