UKIST are proud to be participating in the Aviva Community Fund again in 2019. This year, the funding is on an “all or nothing” basis and we need your help!
One of our core ambitions is to improve awareness of the symptoms of infantile spasms amongst the medical profession, because without early diagnosis the development outcomes for children can be truly devastating. We are therefore extremely excited to be working in partnership with the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) to develop some new training for primary healthcare professionals, which will launch in 2020.
To make this happen, we’re enormously grateful for our fundraisers efforts this year, and for our collaborations with Young Epilepsy and the Childhood Neurology Foundation. To fully meet the costs, we’re looking to raise a final £2,366. The only catch… our project will only be funded if at least £2,366 is pledged by 20 December 2019 at 12:00am. If we don’t reach this target, all money pledged will be returned (including any Aviva funding).
Please give what you can, share the link, and together let’s smash the target!
